Oriyomi Hamzat is a prominent Nigerian broadcast journalist, human rights activist, and founder of Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan. Background: Born in the 1980s in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Asimiyu Adekunle Hamzat, a journalist with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Education: Attended Iroko Community Grammar School, the Oyo State School of Sciences in Pade, and earned a Diploma in Geology from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
Higher Education: Studied Mass Communication at the Polytechnic’s Eruwa Campus and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in November 2023.

Career Beginnings: Started as a print journalist for The Guardian and worked with the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS).
